Medal of Honor recipients, Navy SEALs and Congressmen are lining up to join Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s veterans coalition.

Bush is the only presidential candidate thus far to release a platform on veterans issues. On the same day that said agenda was published, Bush announced that he had the support of 12 Medal of Honor recipients.

Bush’ coalition has ballooned to 74 veterans, including four Congressmen, ten Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces members and the Medal of Honor winners. This is the largest group of military veteran supporters collected by any presidential candidate in the 2016 election.

“It’s an incredible honor to have the support of these heroic individuals.” Bush told Fox News. “I am committed to a safe America through a strong military, and having a strong military includes having policies that will keep our country’s commitment to our veterans‎.”

According to his platform, Bush plans to overhaul the VA by allowing veterans to choose doctors outside the system, placing a bigger emphasis on women’s health services and properly penalizing under-performing VA staffers, among other things. He will discuss this plan at a townhall in Englewood, Co.

Endorsements are great to have, but can they sway the opinions of veteran voters? We’ll find out at the primaries.
