In a classic story of being at the right place at the right time, amateur photographer Phoo Chan had the privilege of capturing a strange moment of interspecies cooperation between a lowly crow and a fierce, proud bald eagle.
According to Chan, the tired crow briefly rested upon the back of an eagle to take a break and get a free ride. The eagle, knowing it was the pinnacle of majesty and grace no matter what was on its back, continued flying nonplussed. After gliding together for a few moments, the crow lifted off and the birds parted ways as neither friends nor enemies.
There’s got to be a heavy-handed metaphor for American excellence and patriotism in this. Tell us what you think it is in the comments.
