This was the other day at Gillette Stadium, the home of Tom Brady, sad-looking footballs and the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
Behind the wheel is a man named Tom Meents — he’s a monster truck driver. He’s probably a regular, normal-sized truck driver as well (that would be strange if he had a small car as his personal ride, wouldn’t it?) but in this instance he’s revving up a cartoony machine with big toy wheels and more spikes than anyone knows what to do with.
He does something that’s the equivalent of scoring a 100 points in basketball or hitting four homeruns in one game in baseball or shooting a 59 in golf.
