Spirit now provides two free checked bags and a free carry-on (including the already free personal item) to active-duty military traveling on their airlines.

The United States service member can show their identification when checking their bags at the airport’s airline counter or — to save time — they can verify their military status by booking online here (during the online checkout, simply click on the “verify” button).
