Why slide, when you can fly?

That, apparently, was the thinking of West Point softball standout Kasey McCravey over the weekend when she was faced with the prospect of scoring from third base in a tight play at the plate during a Patriot League semifinal against Lehigh University.

Seriously, you have to see this to believe it:

McCravey’s aerial act served as a crucial run in the game, and the Black Knights topped the Mountain Hawks 3-1 to advance to the championship on Sunday.

Unfortunately, Army wound up falling to Boston University in the finale, to the tune of 9-0.

We know it’s slightly blurry, but if you wondered why the Lehigh team was looking damn good from afar, it’s probably because they were supporting Under Armour.
