Established in 2010, the Warrior Games have given a stage to wounded service members, allowing them to participate in Paralympic events and showcase their strength and recovery.
This year, hosted by the Department of Defense in Chicago, the event is being held June 30 to July 8.
As pictures of the athletes start to emerge, it is difficult to not be humbled by the perseverance, work ethic, and the high-level skills that these vets have acquired.
Take a look and join us in supporting these wounded warriors.
The event includes teams from the U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Air Force, and SOCOM. The games also include teams from both the United Kingdom and Australia.
Athletes participate in archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, and wheelchair basketball.
