As of this post’s publish date, more than 2,400 veteran parents and parents-to-be have signed up to be a part of the a grand, sweeping nationwide baby shower that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is hosting (along with a few partners) at a select number of its medical facilities (about 60 total) across the country. According to them, it starts May 5 and runs all the way up and through Mother’s Day, May 13, to June 2.

This post will provide all the necessary links one needs to participate, and/or contribute to the shower.

Every vet mother and family signed up will receive a kit for their baby (like the one in the photograph above) that’ll include the following: a diaper bag, new baby toiletries, hair brush, comb set, bib, layette, blanket and a hat.

To find the event locations, and the date of the shower at that particular site, click here. You can also contact that hosting VA facility and let them know you’d like participate.

For a direct way online to donate (it’s $50 which will go directly to purchasing and building the kits) you can click here.
