In the United States, there are a million and one ways to support our military. Some are extensive (building a house for a family) and some are quick and easy (politely thanking a veteran for their service at the grocery store).

The following one is altogether different, and combines getting fit with pledging allegiance to one of two branches of the armed forces: U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force.

It’s called The Exchange & Under Armour Freedom Challenge, and it has a one motive: “to inspire the brave men and women dedicated to protecting us.”

Here’s how it works, per the Military Times:

Starting Oct. 12, go to www.MapMyFitness.com/challenges/aafes or download the MapMyFitness mobile app.

• Under “Challenges” look for “Army vs. Air Force” and choose the branch you would like to support. This will be your “team” for the workout challenge.

• After every workout, log into the MapMyFitness mobile app or go online and enter your completed workout.

• After logging your workout, you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win one of the $100 Under Armour gift cards to be given away weekly.

• When the Freedom Challenge ends on November 11, 2016, participants who logged just one workout will be automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing for a chance to win a $250 gift card.

The Exchange has proudly served America’s military since 1895, with an aim to increase the value of the Exchange benefit as well as give back to the community at large.
