Taking a vow of poverty, chastity and obedience won’t put you in line to become the next Rick James — but it can get you a decent tan.
That’s what one drone pilot discovered recently when he/she flew their little robot aircraft over a giant wind turbine in Newport, Rhode Island.
Upon hovering the remote-controlled drone high atop the already generously-elevated turbine (approximately 200 feet up) the “pilot” discovered a figure sprawled out, taking in some rays and soaking up the late August summer sun. He appeared to be an older gentleman, and cordial, even to machines. He started waving when he realized he was being filmed.
After the footage was put up on YouTube, a commenter/user clued everyone in on the identity of the sun-worshipping man. He knew him.
